:: Shomerim Retreat 2010!! ::

Date: 27th to 29th May 2010

Location: Changi Chalet I

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

5 months have almost passed since we begin 2010. How is your daily walk with our Lord? Thank God we have this year's Shomerim camp to recharge ourselves spiritually. We'll be learning about God’s righteousness and mercy from the life of Elijah. There will also be lessons on God's provision in time of need; God's power seen when we pray and God's provision of rest for his weary people. In the midst of our busy schedule in school & work, let us take some time off and learn these precious lessons. (edited)

Come and rekindle our love for God!

6 Thematic Messages:

In judgement God shows mercy
God's power converts people
Welcome strangers into your midst
God's merciful provision falls on everyone
God comforts his people in the on-going fight against evil
God manifests his justice and mercy

We'll also be having other activities such as workshop concerning our Christian Faith and also BBQ dinner.

How to Go?

(A) Drive: To reach the campsite, drive along Loyang Avenue

Note: Those coming from TPE can exit at exit no.2 After passing by the Commando Camp on your left, and before you reach Changi Village or Maranatha BP Church, turn left into Cranwell Road. Turn right into Netheravon Road and you will find Chalet I on the left.

(B) Bus: Take bus no.29 from Tampines Interchange --> Alight at the blue circled bus stop (Bus Stop- Govt Chalets) --> Walk in.
