Small note: Pastor mentioned in his Easter message, “If each one take care of our hearts, the church is alive. Similarly, if each one in Shomerim, takes care and do their daily devotion, then Shomerim will stay alive. May we not be the first to resurrect at the 2 nd coming of the Lord! =p (if u remember the joke Pastor mentioned).

:: Oath to consider to take with me. ::
Dear Members,
This is the oath that I proposed for Shomerim to take in April. It is not compulsory but I do encourage all brethren who are burden to take it with me. Do pray and consider. The reasons to take this is that I hope that members can be more committed to attend Shomerim and also to encourage one another in the faith. It is your promise with God. We hope that by doing this every year, if God willing, we can reconsecrate our lives to God for His use. Amen!
My Promise Before God
Romans 12
By God’s grace and enabling I, ________________, member of Shomerim, promise before God on this day, ___ Apr 2009,
a. to present my body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is my reasonable service;
b. not to be conformed to this world: but to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, that I may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God;
c. not to think of myself more highly than I ought to think, but to think soberly, according as God halt dealt to me the measure of faith;
d. to co-labour with the members of Shomerim, as one body in the Lord, and members one of another;
e. to use the gifts which God has given me, according to my measure of faith, and to do it consistently, diligently and cheerfully for the Lord;
f. to love one another with brotherly love, with lowliness of mind esteeming other better than myself;
g. not to be slothful in business, but fervent in spirit, serving the Lord with much prayer and in accordance with God’s holy and perfect Word;
h. to attend every fellowship meetings as often as possible.
I promise to keep the purity, peace and unity of this fellowship at all times to the glory of God.
Help me, O God to perform all that I have promised to do, to the Glory of Thy Holy Name.
