Some pics to show you when I was at Marina Barrage earlier on for an event.

Pic taken from 2nd level: The huge arc is actually a ramp that runs from the rooftop down to the 1st floor. There's a huge fountain pool in the middle on the 1st floor.

Today is the opening of Singapore's 15th reservoir at Marina South. I foresee that Marina South is the next hip place esp in the yr 2010 when The IR and Gardens by the Bay is up. PM Lee was the Guest of Honour - and nope, my job has nothing gotta do with him(my interns kept telling me he has cute bodyguards.lol...) but to take care of NParks guests and match them to the Directors who are suppose to guide them through.

Event at Marina Barrage is actually the 2nd event I had today. Noon was a farewell lunch for my interns@ Cafe Verde, followed by press conference at the HortPark for 'The Kings Freedom" - A American couple donated 4 slabs of the Berlin wall (as in the REAL Berlin wall that was errected during WWII) to Singapore which wld be placed in Bedok Reservoir Park. Foreign Affairs Minister George Yeo was there. He was really friendly, said hi to me when I was trying to hide away:p

In the short span of 3weeks at work I have been to 3 very different events. The very 1st one was at HortPark for Skyrise Greenery Award. One of the winning skyrise gardens is at Vivo City.

Thk God for the experience and I really love the new things I am learning day by day:) The best thing abt the events? Free buffet food..haha! I get to meet all kinds of people including the many directors that NParks have. Quite a fun bunch of directors :) Trying hard to recognise them ( Comms Dept seems to always be in contact with the Senior Management)and know them by name(Most of them are guys).

More updates after exams. Pls pray for me...that I wld be able to finish my revision. Exams falls on the 4th, 6th and 10th Nov!!!! *argh*
