:: be an example ::
hello shomerim :Dthis is a song i shared during the recent prayer meeting. It is about being an example!Many now are watching the footsteps that we take ;Many soon will follow in the choices that we take ;So let us then be faithful, to be what we should be ;and lead a good example that they may clearly see .Be an example to the believers in WORD and in CONDUCT ;Be steadfast in love, in faith, in purity of life,For those behind us, let us stand behind the gapAnd make a difference in their life ,Be an example to follow Christ .This is the first stanza with Chorus. I was very enlightened by this song as now we have Jeshua , Baoyan , Crayson joining us . So, as the song suggest, that we should be good Christian examples to them. If we have a habit of skipping meetings or coming late , they'll sooner or later learn from us. But if we always come on time for all meetings, they'll also learn from us. (: If we do not maintain our Christian example, not only will we die out of the will of God, but we may also hinder those who looked to us as an example. Im sure everyone of us would look up to somebody in Shomerim (maybe caleb , alan) and they might be others looking up to us so we should all be the good Christian example for them and not let them be stumbled. Actually the best example to look up to is Jesus Christ. :]In the chorus of the song, it says that we should be examples in WORD and in CONDUCT because that is the most obvious thing thst others would see and follow. Examples of a good example are :-showing the right attitude in everything, -showing joy in all circumstances,-putting God in everything and many many more.So i hope that all of us as Shomerim will strive to be a good example for others to make a difference in their lifes ! :D[sorry for the longggg post]
