Small note: Pastor mentioned in his Easter message, “If each one take care of our hearts, the church is alive. Similarly, if each one in Shomerim, takes care and do their daily devotion, then Shomerim will stay alive. May we not be the first to resurrect at the 2 nd coming of the Lord! =p (if u remember the joke Pastor mentioned).

:: the inevitable one... ::
We thank God for our recent easter sunday service and His message for us on the Empty Tomb.
"He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today. He walks with me and talks with me, along life's narrow way. He lives, He lives, salvation to impart. You ask me how I know he lives, he lives within my heart."
Recently, I had a online chat with my friend. I shared with her my christian testimony and also the gospel. "I believe Jesus and Mohammed are playing the same role. Just that your Jesus is my Mohammed", she said. My heart skipped a beat and thought within me, "This is the very first time I hear such encounters".
I knew the answer to it. I shared with her the inevitable difference between the two major "religions": Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship.
I had began to appreciate the empty tomb more than I ever could. The sight of it gives me awe and assurance that the empty tomb is power and answer to my faith in Christ. It is the empty tomb that we gives us hope in Christ. Let's proclaim and exclaim the inevitable truth of the empty tomb!
I sang "He lives" with a heavy heart. It was a heart of burden for lost soul. It was a heart of love to reach out to my friends. At the end of our lives' road, have we done our part, as Christians, to share the gospel with our friends?
He Lives! That is the difference between Mohammed and Jesus! Our Saviour is the risen Lord and no one can replace his role. Christ Jesus lives today. He walks with me and talks with me, along life's narrow way. What sets a clear line between other religions and christianity is this: we have a God who walks and talks with us like a friend and He knows our pains and sorrows because He is also a man. Who on earth can a person be a full man and a full God?! Isn't this amazing?
The inevitable one has set a clear line. Do not wait anyway. Do not be dumbfolded by many so called "similarities" between religions. Hold it and the truth shall set you free. If not, your life will be filled with uncertainties and worries. Time waits for no one and is a no-respector of person. At the end of our lives journey, what other hope can we cling on other than the empty tomb? Yes, only the inevitable empty tomb!
