Small note: Pastor mentioned in his Easter message, “If each one take care of our hearts, the church is alive. Similarly, if each one in Shomerim, takes care and do their daily devotion, then Shomerim will stay alive. May we not be the first to resurrect at the 2 nd coming of the Lord! =p (if u remember the joke Pastor mentioned).

:: For I know that my redeemer liveth... ::
How prone are we to think that our redeemer is not with us?!
Isn't it amazing to believe in the presence of our redeemer? Though the world slay us, yet we closely cling to Him. Day and night, in work or school, as the sun set and the sun rise, are we being grateful to Him? We are wretched men and women and it is justifiable for God to punish us eternally. Nevertheless, God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to this earth to die for us. He that knew no sin was made sin for us. He is the beloved of God the Father. He is the Good Shepherd. He is love. He is our friend. He is our Guide in times of peace and tribulation. Such a beautiful companion...
Job believed that His redeemer was alive. He was "comforted", so called, by his friends. His wife asked him to curse God and die. He lost a great multitude of wealth. This person whom he called "redeemer" was also called hope.
In workplace, we face stresses and deadlines given by our superiors. In school, we face study pressure and "must do well no matter what" stresses. But, have we stopped and think about God's presence? Remember, God is alway (In Bible when the word "alway" is used, it simply means "all the way" and it denotes not just always but also throughout our life on earth and even in heaven) with us. Have we stopped and thank God? Have we place grudges on people so much so that you wanted to kill that person? It is time for us to stop and pray.
God brings everyone into different experiences in life. Though I have being through much testings and trials, nevertheless, the judgement of God be upon me if I glory in them. For I have a duty to remind everyone in the Word of God.
When I am tried and purified
I shall come forth as gold
Let us alway remember God's presence with us. He is not dead. He lives...
