    Small note: Pastor mentioned in his Easter message, “If each one take care of our hearts, the church is alive. Similarly, if each one in Shomerim, takes care and do their daily devotion, then Shomerim will stay alive. May we not be the first to resurrect at the 2 nd coming of the Lord! =p (if u remember the joke Pastor mentioned).

    :: Carnal choice? ::

    For many years, election has been deemed as a very important task every citizens of that country or organization should undertake. It has been so important and crucial in determining the outcome of it. As the saying goes, "the followers follow the footprints of their leader". Likewise, marriage is paramount to the society in terms of baby boom and economy uprise.

    Election has been a very important task. For instances like the unconditional election of the believers. God chose and elected some of mankind in eternity past to be His child. It was love, unmeasurable love that engraved deep, far much deeper, in the heart of God. It was grace, amazing grace that brought sinful man and woman to much tears and sorrow for their sins. Years down the world's history, God chose the lineage of Isaac for Christ to incarnate to this earth. Christ chose 12 apostles. Providentially, God chose great men of faith to copy the manuscript (the original script) in complete and absolute perfection to every single jot and tittle.

    Who are we to take election lightly? Do we go for election with a prayerful heart? To seek God for His will? Year after year, election is something unavoidable for every member in shomerim. It is our duty, as part of the youth fellowship, to pray for God's guidance.

    Visit any website that reports unbiased international news. Election is bright and everywhere in the world today. Many candidates have argued for better health care plans, much promises, better ties among citizens and elected governors, etc.. As Christian, we have an argument also. But, it is totally different from the world. God is the base of our argument in search of leaders. We should base our election on the Word of God and prayers.

    What is crucial now, every members have to pray for this election. Neither go with an attitude of indifference nor an overdriven desire to promote one who has been close to you to be leader. By the Word of God, we shall base our election. Neither base on feelings, thinking that that person makes you feel spiritual. Search the scripture, scan and screen that person's life and testimony through the Word of God. With prayers, only by then, will we be able to know the will of God.
