Small note: Pastor mentioned in his Easter message, “If each one take care of our hearts, the church is alive. Similarly, if each one in Shomerim, takes care and do their daily devotion, then Shomerim will stay alive. May we not be the first to resurrect at the 2 nd coming of the Lord! =p (if u remember the joke Pastor mentioned).

:: Our Faith and Our Usefulness to God ::
Have been reading a book and thought it is nice to share some excerpts from that book:
Spurgeon pointed out that our success in the Lord's work is determined not by our ability or our zeal, but by the amount of faith we have in God. In an address to church leaders he said,
Our work especially requires faith. If we fail in faith, we had better not have undertaken it; and unless we obtain faith commensurate with the service, we shall soon grow weary of it. It is proven by all observation that success in the Lord's service is very generally in proportion to faith. It certainly is not in proportion to ability, nor does it always run parallel with a display of zeal; but it is invariably according to the measure of faith, for this is a law of the Kingdom without exception, "According to your faith be it unto you." It is essential, then, that we should have faith if we are to be useful, and that we should have great faith if we are to be greatly useful. The great men and women of the Bible accomplished great things because they were men and women of great faith. And it is only with faith that we can expect to make real progress and advance the front lines of God's kingdom. Spurgeon said, "Faith is our battle-ax and weapon of war; woe to the warrior who forgets it!"
When we as ministry leaders exhibit strong faith in God, we increase our usefulness to Him in multiple ways - one being that the Lord can use our example to encourage others toward greater faith. The apostle Paul, while in jail and uncertain about his future, wrote, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." and, "my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:13,19. Countless Christians through the ages have been uplifted toward stronger faith through these words. We should desire that our faith, as revealed through our words and actions, is similarly uplifting to others.
It is all opportunities for us to exercise our faith and make it stronger!
