:: sharing of devotion or something ::

was talking and discussing about positive thinking.. about things that the schools and the popular seminars are teaching.. or even army is teaching them.. about " you are the best" , 'you can do it if you think you can do it', "you are a born winner"...

there are people around who are so called living testimonies of such mentality.. esp when you see them being confident and successful.. and they share their 'secret' of their success and that's the believe in the inner self and bring it out to work..

i wonder, as much as we have learnt and read bout being confident in the Lord, will be able to stand as tall and as confident and those people who have found confidence in themselves.

i thought of it for sometime and realise that those christians who really found their strength in the Lord are those people who are 'weak' and yet still remain strong. yet again, putting the 2 type of people on the scale, one will be apparent strong and capable and yet the strong Christian is just a mediocre who rely on His God. i find it hard to understand why a Christian will not be apparently easily seen to be stronger.

after thoughts.. i realise.. , erm. not realise but convinced that the way we see things is different from how God see things. we will never be able to see final overal plan of our qualities in His wholesome plan.. but i will understand and believe the Bible that he who trust in the Lord will be blessed. and he who draw strength from the Lord will be strong. simple fact to accept and not to compare with the world criteria of what does it mean by being strong.
