    Small note: Pastor mentioned in his Easter message, “If each one take care of our hearts, the church is alive. Similarly, if each one in Shomerim, takes care and do their daily devotion, then Shomerim will stay alive. May we not be the first to resurrect at the 2 nd coming of the Lord! =p (if u remember the joke Pastor mentioned).

    :: Attachment---------In school ::

    Its been the 4th work of attachement in school and i wanna thanK GOd that in house attachment wasn't so bad afterall!=) i actually enjoy my self very much, having alot of fun with my coursemates, sneaking out to TM, playing basketball and badminton,going jogging and out to lunch together. And how can i forget slacking in the office,which is just outside the food lab (where the food sci ppl ALWAYS bake fragrant bread that wld send all of us drooling!they wld always ask us to help them sample and grade their bread tho!;p), playing chess and me in front of my laptop. and sometimes we even turn the office into our playground! where in the world wld u be able to find a attachment place like that?;p

    But of cos this is not what my attachment is all about. For me, my job scope is doing preparation of chemicals etc which wld only take place when sch is gonna reopen for the new semester. my company supervisor is the head of TSO(technical support officer). She's a very jolly lady and thus far what we are asked to do is to stock checking of all the lab apparatus. She has another store for us to arrange which we haven done yet. you see doing all the above is only 20% of my attachment time. 80% goes out to my major project which is titled Material Science. dun ask me what it is cos i haf absolutely no idea(i'm from the pharmaceutical side,nt chem engineering)! according to amos, its like how much pressure building material can take, the max&min temp. it can take etc. so what i've done is the copper rooftop which is giving TP alot of prob and next in line wld be the floor that TP uses. my major project lecturer say tt if i do a gd job, he might be able to get me a job outside.;p

    Today i attended a workshop WITH my lecturers! Its on Experiment Design(which is actually an engineering module). sounds boring? far from it! had lots of fun during the workshop as the lecturers who conducted it use POPCORNS to conduct the workshop! this is the 1st time i pop popcorns.;p during the 1st round, we were split into groups and each grp was given different utensils to work with. some wok, some microwave oven and we were given different SOP(Standard Operating Procedure) to work with and see how many corns pop,got burnt or din pop at all and change the SOP accordingly. for 2nd session, in our same grp, we get to choose what we wanna do, production(mass producing popcorns using the most effective way), packaging or flavouring( either sweet or spicy) as we were suppose to come up with a new popcorn product and be judged by it. and yep, i made the decision for my grp!lolx...i chose flavouring-----sweet, all things as sweet if not sweeter than sugar! for my grp,we played ard with ingredients such as chocolate, coconut powder, jams, icing, nescafe, milo powder. the spicy grp had wasaba, curry powder(sorry but curry popcorn just CMI), ginger powder.

    The production and packaging dept was always at war and the 2 flavoring grp are always living in harmony. in the end we came out with (drum roll pls!)..............sugar-ginger-choc popcorn! trust me, its really nice.......all sweet and spicy all in one. a grp of us brought down the popcorns and ask some ppl to try. call my lecturers out to try and the 3 yr one chem eng students(all guys) very 'da pai', lazy to take out their gloves and wash there hands and i haf to feed them! their rxn is sooooooooo funny when they realise that its ginger flavoured! u see, u can only get the ginger after u swallow the popcorn. apparently the younger generation dun like ginger.....

    so the whole afternoon my lungs was filled with ginger smell... it was a fun day and i really enjoy myself very much!

    p.s anyone wanna try the popcorn?;p
