Small note: Pastor mentioned in his Easter message, “If each one take care of our hearts, the church is alive. Similarly, if each one in Shomerim, takes care and do their daily devotion, then Shomerim will stay alive. May we not be the first to resurrect at the 2 nd coming of the Lord! =p (if u remember the joke Pastor mentioned).

:: last evangelism of the year ::

haven't been to any of the tracting session for the whole of 2005. but i am glad that at least, i have tried to go for the last one.

i really think that salvation is the works of God. it is really very hard to make someone understand and see the light of the Gospel. even i can say a thousand things to "rebuke" the Gospel. however, there's something in my heart that cause me to believe that the Bible is undeniably true and that God's plan of salvation must never be treated as a mere story.

we met this man, Mr Liu, who was from a catholic school, went to christian fellowship group before but is now a Buddhist.. he says that he grow to realise that religion is a personal growth in his own chosen beliefs. in Buddhism, he finds himself growing to be a better person. his aim is not be go to heaven, but to be a better person, which will eventually, some day in some time will bring him to heaven. why not christianity for him? he says, "i dun want to be in a certain religion because of the end result only. i dun wnat to just go to church to follow the crowd, and jsut to go heaven when i am still a bad person. now, as a buddhist, i learn to cultivate myself. also the gospel sounds funnie to me. if i jsut have to believe to go heaven, i may as well believe only at my deathbed and i will still go to heaven."

this is exactly the same query my catholic friend posed to me. they say that the christian faith is too ridiculous. how can it be? but, they never realise that a christian walk is just as difficult, trying to live for Christ and living in the guilt of sin every time when we give in to our flesh and desires.

ok.. wat am i driving at? i am just saying, it's so difficult to preach to the others, and make them understand. but i will still do it next time. because, i just have to do the talking, whether they believe it or not, i have done what i am commanded to me. sounds easy? nope. cos most of the time when they dun believe, i feel.. very sad.

    enough blabbering.~ that's all folks.
