Small note: Pastor mentioned in his Easter message, “If each one take care of our hearts, the church is alive. Similarly, if each one in Shomerim, takes care and do their daily devotion, then Shomerim will stay alive. May we not be the first to resurrect at the 2 nd coming of the Lord! =p (if u remember the joke Pastor mentioned).

:: Sharing #1 ::
At the start off, it was a very cool feeling. When I ended the whole trip, it was a very tiring feeling. Some interesting events I would like to share.
During the first day, it will be a very relaxing trip. I myself find it very relaxing also. During first day, I went to Queens town without a long resting break. And settled down there for lunch. After lunch, went back to sleep at desmond's bed (HAHa song bo...). Later around 5.30, I decided to set off from Queens town to Chua Chu Kang. When I was on my journey to cck, it was getting dark. Things seem to be harder than I expected. Some more, they were malays on the pedestrian pavement. It was darken the dark. The reason of why I do not wish to cycle on the road is because that area was a turning. And I saw a car turned from that point, and it was very fast. It was a death zone. So I decided to cycle on the pavement. Thank God. True enough that a car turned fast, and if I'm on the road, the driver will be unable to notice me at the split of second. No matter how strong your bicycle's headlight and back reflector is, death still approach to you. It was truly God's mercy.
When I was at the Lentor Avenue. I took the Zebra crossing to cross over for the traffic light. And by an hour time or lesser, I reached Yio Chu Kang MRT station. As some of you know, Lentor Avenue is like a highway. The cars are extremely fast. And on my left hand side, it was the BKE or PIE exit. So I braked before crossing the zebra crossing, afraid that the car will zoom and knock me down. True enough, a driver was talking on phone while zooming passed the zebra crossing without noticing me. One objective lesson. Never cycle cross the zebra crossing in places like Lentor Avenue and Gambas Road. Not even Woodland Road. Normal zebra crossing like the one which we have below our house, it's not a much problem if we zoom across. If we zoom at the Lentor Ave, it means could be a death.
Alright, in the closing of the Gambas Ave which was near the Sembawang MRT Station, there was a place where there is no zebra crossing. Not even traffic light. And the road which cut across the two sides, is the exit for the PIE. It was my second attempt for such a dangerous move. But I remember, it is either I die there and leave the bike there, or I move on and take my bike along. I have to Choose! So of course, I decided to cross with my bike. From the side of my eye, I watched and examined the vehicle speed and traffic control. At one point of time, I assumed that there were no cars exiting the expressway, I was about to run for my life to cross the road. Suddenly, just before I could move my bike, a car in a 80+ km/hr zoom out the exit. And if I'm in the middle of the road, the accident will be very very fatal. Probably fly off to the Sembawang MRT ba.. :) A lesson to learn. In such a crossing, always go one by one. There are somemore, probably will write in other days. :D Thanks and God bless!
