    Small note: Pastor mentioned in his Easter message, “If each one take care of our hearts, the church is alive. Similarly, if each one in Shomerim, takes care and do their daily devotion, then Shomerim will stay alive. May we not be the first to resurrect at the 2 nd coming of the Lord! =p (if u remember the joke Pastor mentioned).

    :: My Confession ::

    Pardon me for writing such a long entries. I would admit guilty for coming to the youth fellowship because of the face. And I would honestly put it, it is true to many people also. This is the sickness found in the old Agape, and also Shomerim.

    When people join the youth fellowship, they always remember these words "For Christ's sake, I will suffer". Imagine to hear this when he or she enters the fellowship? For Christ's sake, I will suffer. "For the sake of the younger brethrens, I will not stumble them". There are many times when I will say "For Christ's sake, I will suffer" before I enter UJ's home. This is disheartening. This is a disappointment. I sincerely wish to find a youth fellowship, which really provides spiritual food. Not only in meetings, but also in fellowship and conversation. I went to FEBC YPF, because they are the ideal youth fellowship which I look for. A place which worthy to be called as a christian youth fellowship. After meeting, they will have a time of sharing. In which many of them shared their burdens, and difficulties. When I heard their problems, I feel like crying. I feel like saying, "Brother, let us go thru together for Christ sake." My Spiritual walk with God strengthen when I joined them. The leaders do not have a language barrier. What I observed, was that the leaders communicated to everybody in the fellowship. Not a single human was neglected.

    But, I went home thinking, I belong to Shomerim. My membership is in shomerim. The FEBC YPF include me as a member of their youth fellowship. I have a double membership. And if I were to join them, and neglect Shomerim, it is so easily done. But just like loving my life partner, unconditional love. I pondered, isn't this agape love? To love my life partner, for better for worst. And isn't also that I should love Shomerim for better for worst? I reasoned, and come down with a conclusion. I decided to join Shomerim, and continue as a regular member in the group. And here I am in the youth fellowship.

    I noticed this problem long since I joined the fellowship. And I just wait for years, and wait for someone to voice out. Someone did, but was not hard and pressing. It did not get across to the people. And if the fellowship continues like this, many people will be hurt and disappointed.

    Dear Shomerimers, respect your leaders and know who they really are. They are like your pastor, who is looking over you, care and protect you. Do not curry-favour them because you found joy and companionship in them. They need your care and love also. I was a leader in the past, not in Shomerims or Agape, and I truly know what it feels when the group neglected the leaders.

    My friend shared with me that our pastor Ronny actually has abit of difficult time in his position. He does not have a person to share his pastorate burden in the church. And often, this is what the leaders feel. I learned from him. How he loves the church. Have you ever heard someone telling our pastor Ronny, "How are you? How's your spiritual life? Come, let's exchange prayer and share about our burden and pray." And usually, our pastor is the one who asked us, and we take it for granted. This is Christ's love, asking no return but continuously showing care and concern to each other.

    I wrote a letter to him. Because I myself truly know what he has been through in his ministry. I sympathize with him. Well, that's beside the point.. sorry..

    Dear Shomerimers, it's time to bring in the new era. It is time to bring in changes for the good, and move on. It is time to be the youth fellowship, worthy to be called by our Lord. Do kindly take the entries I wrote into consideration. Thanks and God bless!
