Sincerely speaking, I was very much inspired on Rev. Tow and Dr. John Sung's academic testimony. And as I read through, I felt so much encouraged and inspired. Dr. John Sung, who was a nobody, became the world famous scientist, got his PhD in Chemistry and won alot of medals and Gold Keys. At that time, gold Keys are more honourable than Medal. And Rev. Tow, how he fought the battle with Modernism, and did a wonderful pastoral work. Pastor of Bethlehem BP Church, who had a primary 6 education, is a Doctorate graduate in Theology. As I examined their life, I also wish to have such gain. Although, I know "What shall profit a man, if he gain the whole world and lost his own soul?" But yet, I know that it is my call to do well in my studies.

Humanly speaking, as I did my revision for hours and hours.. My focus kept on the Doctorate degree even though I'm a Diploma candidate. And truthfully speaking, I really need God's help. Despite of all the difficulties and stresses, I really experience God's help. And only by faith, I can experience such wonderful work from God.

Yes, Doctorate is hard to get. It Seems Impossible! Really? How about "With man it is impossible, but with God all things are possible?" and "He shall deliver them, and save them, and help them, because they trust in Him" and also "Ask and it shall be given unto you, Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be open unto you." and lastly, Every good promise God will not break it. If this is so, what is the only fomula that God can help us and gain this victory on earth? Faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. If without faith, then I can barely forget my doctorate, or even Double Masters with Honors.

Just a word of encouragement. I do believe many in the blogs are student. Work hard for the studies. Even though it may seems to be diploma, or even certificate, but you might not know, you will end up in the Doctorate seat. And if we do not work hard on the low level, we will surely suffer in the high level. Isn't it so true?

Dr. Jeffrey Khoo, honestly speaking as said by himself that he does not have a clever mind. His accomplishment was, humanly speaking, by diligence and hardwork, instead of IQ. But he obtained a Doctorate degree for theology in America. And overall achievement, it was really God's help for him. He shared this testimony in his class.

Therefore, dear students, seize this limited opportunity to study for the Lord. May it be in the primary school, secondary school, Polytechnics, Junior College, University, Bible college, and other private or government-aided insituitions, let us focus and aim rightly at the right things. And believing and pray, by faith in God, you will see how God shall work in your life and studies. Do not doubt God, because doubt is the beginning of failure. Thanks and God bless!
