:: Why did they fall? ::

they started building in 1966 and the job was done in 1973.to the engineer who design and saw the construction of it, it was the greatest achievement he ever have, at the age of 34. but they didnt last.

having a lecture from 6pm to 8pm is tough...cos the temptation to skip is great.but i went anyway and i didnt regret it. our global lecturer show us a video titled . to many of us, all that we know is the twin towers fall and that night when i heard the news from the radio,i thot what was the big deal, having the s'pore world trade centre in mind...(haha...i noe i'm ignorant) but this video show us how the towers were bulit. why did the building give way, right down to the structure of the towers, how the jetliners(767) came crushing into the building, the flaws of the building etc. and of cos we had a quiz on it after the show.

do u noe that the twin towers were build to withstand alot of things, like the strong wind and even a air strike(that is if the plane is 707) and it survive a bomb explosion back in 1993(if u r guessing who did it, its by the terrorist militant grp)?although the south tower was hit 4 min later than the north tower,it actually collaspe 1st?

i thank God for putting me in this CDS subject(although it was my 3rd choice.)i learn alot of things that i would never have bother to go and find out and continue to be ignorant of what is going on globally. netx week we wld be watching another video on terrorists.;P

pray for me,next week is my hell week. mon got csas presentation in an LT and biochem lab test, tue global presentation& biochem quiz, wed&thur A&P quiz.
