maybe those who left early for today's shomerim didn't know...

while we (shuhui, daniel, joelson, me) were having dinner bought back by daniel and joelson, "piang", something has broken. we saw that the coffee table was spilled with water and the area is glittering due to the glass and glitters... Jeshua turned over the "waterball with Jesus in the manger thingie" around. the "water glassball" isn't attached to the figurine and ... "piang" it goes.. the glass broke and water spill..

of cos, under this kind of situation, A. Kethurah shouted at jeshua.. and said that Jeshua is creating trouble.

what am i driving at...

1. bring up a child is definitely not easy. yo have to bear with the little happenings revolving your child. and when your child create trouble for you, keeping you cool, even deciding what kind of expressions to give your child isn't easy. .. or maybe that's what i think.

2. i know parents wish to have obedient children who keep still, be nice, courteous, studious etc.. but.. is there really the best children we should have? or is it really so nice to have children who keep still? i dun totally agree.

3. i should consider myself a very nice child last time. i do break things.. but not often, because after ONE incident of breaking things.. i will be angry with my parents.. (becos i think it is ridiculous for them to scold me for breaking things) so.. i will just stay still.. very still. inactive.. with my parents around, ONLY with my parents around, i will just stay at a corner and be their good boy. is that the kind of child we should be? i dunthink so..

4. being a nice boy who keep still.. slowly becoming inactive, the nice studious boy who ace his exams.. Adults give praises to this boy. but.. years later.. the boy regret. he regret to be too inactive, resulting in his lack of passion in sports.. he regret to be too "guai", and now, he jus follow the flow and lack the drive to get out of the box. note: not that he cannot do things out of the box.. but he jus prefer to follow the flow and dun wan to risk.

5. conclusion: in all kind of behaviours and characteristic.. there are pros and cons.. just think on the bright side of life..
